Who I am...
Growing up as the oldest of two younger brothers I was raised to lead by example. My father took work very seriously and never took a vacation, even if he had the time for it he still would find work to do. The workaholic attitude rubbed off on me and before I knew it I began working with my father by the age of 11. At that time my mother was not present, I had to raise my youger siblings. By age 13 I learned how to drive, operate bobcat machines, pour concrete, and attend middle school. At age 15 I started working for my fathers company and became his account manager. It was a really stressful task but determined to keep working. In doing so I learned how to succesfully manage a small business by age 16. I am a worker at heart and will put forth the effort needed to get the job done.
Why SPCC?...
I chose to go to SPCC because I felt it would prepare and offers an enviroment with less distractions. I strongly feel I made the right desicion and if I was given the choice to go back, I would still attend South Piedmont for an Associates degree. I am currently working on getting my Associates in Science degree, and going to south piedmont has prepared me for the long run of my future. I say this because the classes are small so I create a relationship with my instructors. I learned new study habits and even adopted some student habits from instructor advice.
Learning style
I have a very flexible learning style but I really prefer to be in class writing notes and recieve any help in person from an instructor. I like to consider myself someone who pays close attention to detail and enjoy making an assignment look good. I like to think using different perspective and I am always open to discuss different ideas even if I dont agree.
Academic Profile
I went to Central Academy of Technology and Arts for high school. I graduated in the class of 2014 and throughout my high school years I always tried to make a difference in someone else's life. I volunteered inside and outside of school and recieved several recognitions from different administrators. My favorite classes consisted of my biology, mathamatics, and foreign language. I favor these classes becuase they taught me skills that have helped me through my time here at SPCC.
I gained my work habits and many experiences through my father.
One of my favorite sports to play is soccer.
I grew up around firearms and enjoy many shooting sports.
Fishing is something I have and will always enjoy doing.
The outdoors is my natural habitat and one of my personal escapes.
Boating gives me plenty of room away from it all.
As a child I have always had the opportunity to play instruments.
